Keeping calendar events fresh and exciting is no easy task. Each go around must stay true to the idea of the event and yet introduce new elements and additions that keep followers guessing, excited and entertained. Infinite Luxury and Kata Rock’s annual Superyacht Rendezvous (KRSR) is one calendar event that continues to innovate and raise the bar every year.

The 2020 edition of the event introduces something that’s been around for ages, just not here in Phuket. Enter the Kata Rocks Poker Run (KRPR). Based on 90’s era fast-boat rallies in the US, this year’s Poker Run will see captains, crew and their boats circumnavigate the island, collecting player hands at five designated checkpoints.

Boats and crew who have completed the round will gather back at Kata Rocks in the afternoon of the 12th December for beer, burgers, a Poker Run T-Shirt and what can only be described as a good time. The captain of the boat with the winning hand will be announced, winning a two-night stay in one of Kata Rocks fantastic villas, as well as their boat name engraved on the KRPR trophy to commemorate their magnificent victory.

Contact to register your boat for a day out and around Phuket. The race starts at 10:00 am on Saturday 12th December, with a 5,000 THB fee for entry for one boat and one captain – 3,000 THB if you enter early, and an extra 1,000 THB for each additional crew member.
