When dining out, the atmosphere of a restaurant is always just as important as the quality of the meals. At the Breeze restaurant in Cape Yamu, the dishes definitely match the environment.
The name of the restaurant is apt as there is a cool sea breeze that flows throughout the entire venue. The vistas of the sparkling Andaman Sea are another thing that make it so that you won’t want to leave after the meal is finished. It’s the perfect place to sit and relax and enjoy a drink or two, during and after dining.
Using fresh ingredients, the French Canadian chefs at the Breeze restaurant work wonders with their amazing dishes; on the 7th of October this year, the RL- Phuket team were treated to a tremendous dining experience due to their culinary expertise. There were so many tempting appetizers to choose from but in the end we decided upon cashew nut butter and breadsticks with our drinks, as well as amuse bouche: Smoked salmon, lime cream and herb oil.
This was the perfect start to what became the best dining experience we’ve ever had in Phuket. Following on we had fish served with hamachi carpaccio, wasabi cream, lemon dressing, fried seaweed, as well as meat dishes with duck carpaccio, lavish bread, homemade pickled, spicy dressing and shaved parmesan.
The main course consisted of Australian Beef tenderloin with peas puree, Brussels sprouts, king mushrooms.
And the second main course was local stingray, potato risotto, asparagus and snow peas with white wine sauce.
You know you’ve had a good meal when after you’re finished you feel replete but not too full and this is exactly how we felt when the meal was over. It left us feeling completely satisfied but not at all bloated.
There was room for dessert so we tried the Chocoholic trio of chocolate ganache, which came with dark choco-sauce, caramel, homemade praline and peanut ice cream. It was the perfect way to top off the perfect meal.
There truly is no place like the Breeze restaurant in Phuket. We urge you to try their amazing dishes for yourself.
