Kata Rocks Collective Series events are created to merge Phuket’s drinking and dining culture into an entirely new perspective. Guests can expect to be surrounded by an eclectic mix of like-minded people who have been carefully selected by invitation only to engineer a truly unique interactive theme party experience. Get ready to swing and jive to the live jazz sound of the P’jae Stanley Band to get the real feel of a 1930’s party in an authentic ‘speakeasy’ environment. Our talented mixologists have been working overtime to create a fabulous 1930’s cocktail menu including: The Mary Pickford, White Lady, Ward 8, Mint Julep, French 75 and a period Whisky Sour.
Those attending should feel free to welcome back retro-fashion and dress in 1930 era period outfits, as we continue to marrying authentic themed events with the Collective Series standard of excellence. It’s time to get snazzed up, or dress down depending on your fashion take. There are many simpler looks for the 1930’s that range from an old pair of denim overalls and straw hat or a very worn simple cotton dress to suits of the day. Men’s jackets were most often double-breasted with square shoulders and long, broad lapels. Gangster suits also became popular during this time which had wider shoulders, narrower waists, wider pants legs and wider striped fabrics. This often would be paired with a colorful tie and fedora. The ‘Palm Beach’ suit of the 1930’s featured a Kent double or single-breasted jacket and was a popular look for those who could afford it.
Collective Series ‘Session Five ‘The Great Prohibition 1930’s Party’ starts from 5:30pm with tickets priced at THB 2,000 net per guest. This is inclusive of a free flow prohibition themed cocktails and signature canapés. Contact 076 370 777 or email email@example.com for enquires.
