A video was posted in the social networks last week showing an artificial whirlpool in the southern Surat Thani province.
The Video shows a moving watery vortex in the Cheow Lan Lake, an artificial body of water created by the Ratchaprapa Dam in in Khao Sok National Park.
Many people were wondering about this unusual happening. Others see it as a sign for some opportunities.
“Let’s take a look from the top to look for lottery numbers!” one user commented.
In a post about the video on LikeLeak.com, someone was quick to add visual speculation as to its origin:
Meanwhile user “whatajerk” was more circumspect.
“This is actually a naturally occurring phenomenon commonly associated with the sea monster myth,” he explained. “Due to ions in the highly calcified water, the charged particles react with sunlight to I’m just bullshitting I have no idea what I’m talking about.”
