Phuket is an island oasis, a place to go when you want to get away from it all and relax. Ice balls from?
A chunk of ice the size of a basketball came hurtling through the roof of a home in Modesto, California. As the weather was clear at the time, with no clouds in sight, the ice ball is a bit of a mystery.

A belated sequel has been announced for this beloved children’s classic. Let’s hope that they use cell animation for some scenes, like they did in the original, and not CGI.
Sight-seeing tourists save woman
A couple of sight-seeing tourists at the American Fork Canyon in Utah chanced upon a woman who had driven her vehicle down the side of the cliff. The wreckage was in thick woodland so it was lucky the couple came along when they did.
An alarm clock gets everyone alarmed.
A 14 year old boy in America was arrested for bringing a homemade alarm clock to school. Authorities believed he did it intentionally as a hoax, in an attempt to make others believe it was a bomb. Hearing about the unfairness of the arrest, President Barack Obama invited the boy to the White house.
