205 new COVID-19 cases in Thailand

As of January 8 (11.30 am) Thailand registered 205 new cases of COVID-19, raising the total to 9,841. Regions with new cases include Samut Sakhon, Bangkok Samut Prakan, Chonburi, Nakhon Pathom, Chanthaburi and Rayong. Since the beginning of the new outbreak, COVID-19 had spread to 57 provinces. The number of active cases in Phuket stays at 0.

People are urged to comply with safety protocols, including wearing masks, washing hands, keeping social distance.
