With the rise in veganism across the globe, many countries are offering a more comprehensive selection of plant-based options. Thailand’s leading religion is Buddhism, so it doesn’t come as a surprise that vegan cuisine is popular here. This is also accompanied by the fact that it is a tourist hotspot which lends more to a western diet. Many regions in Thailand have a fantastic choice of vegan food, such as Chiang Mai, Pai, Bangkok and many of the Southern Islands. There is no exception with Phuket, with a growing number of vegan cafes and restaurants dotted around the island. Here are the top five vegan restaurants in Phuket.
